This range has been designed for the Business User and Personal User with switchable profiles as a one stop solution, and entered the market in mid 2008. This range includes E90, E66, E71, E51 and E63 - extending through until mid 2009, when a decision will be finally made about the range's future.

The 2G Connect Unlocked Range

Nokia in 2009 will continue to support a 2G range for the simple reason that most people don't have a requirement for 3G; also not all networks have complete 3G coverage. The typical audience for these unlocked 2G mobiles includes lower income earners who are mature, family providers and simplicity seekers.

This range will adhere to the following launch pattern (although some are already active and sold around the world):

  • Nokia 2626, 2600 Classic 2630 unlocked cellular devices will be pushed from January 2009 onwards.
  • In April 2009 the 2330 will be released
  • Followed by the 2323 device in June, which comes with a excellent 65 thousand pixel display for vibrant images and colors as well as FM and recording with blue tooth.

Other connect 2G devices which will be in the market from Q1 09, include Nokia 2760, 2680, 5130 Express Music, 710D Supernova and the 3110 Classic. All will be sold in various markets around the world in both a locked and unlocked factory format.
